Week 4 – Journey Education & Support Group – January 28

Week 4 of our NEW free 8-week Journey Education & Support Group Course topic “Changing Relationships” will be presented by Betty Kirkindoll and Dorothy Horne. Betty is an ETAA Director and has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Dorothy Horne is also an ETAA Director and was a caregiver. They will discuss telling friends/family, dealing with the stigma, adjusting to dependency, and changing roles/relationships.
The Journey group will meet weekly for 8 weeks with each meeting having a time for education (approximately 45 minutes) all together followed by a time for discussion and support with diagnosed individuals and caregivers splitting into two groups. The support groups will be facilitated each week by Morgan Patel and Dorothy Horne.
